To Begin With, Cars come a long way from what the car is now. The cars that we operate now is different from the first cars that we have now. All cars have an evolution and a past. In the late 1700, people would try to make inventions that help people travel easier, and make lives easier. In 1886, Karl Benz made the first “Car”. Motorwagen was invented in 1886. The original cost of this vehicle in 1885 was $1,000 which is equivalent to $26,337 in 2016. Cars in the late 1800’s were costly. So that means that most people moved in ships, trains and horses to move around from city to city. The Motorwagen stop making after 1893. Henry Ford wanted to make cars affordable and reliable. In 1908, Henry Ford created a new car called the Ford Model T. In the first month after the Model T was invented, only 11 were produced. Two years later, Ford produced 10,000 cars. In 1914, when the first world war broke out, Ford produced and shipped 250,000 cars. In 1916, Ford sold nearly 500,00 cars, each for less than half the price in 1914. In 1927, Ford produced 15,000,000 cars, plus tractors and huge varieties of other types of cars. Cars in the 1800’s were not reliable.
